Named Scholarship Funds
Donors who wish to honor or memorialize someone special may establish a scholarship fund that supports either undergraduate or graduate students in the health information field. Depending upon what type of scholarship you wish to support, contributions range from $1000 to $2500.
The minimum annual contribution for a named scholarship fund is $1000. A permanent endowment fund may be established for a minimum contribution of $25,000. We encourage you to consider the person or organization you are honoring with a named scholarship and choose the most appropriate scholarship category for the named fund. Annual named scholarships must be renewed each year to be listed in the scholarship offerings list.
For Named Scholarship Funds on an Annual Basis:
To support scholarships for students earning a HIT AA degree: $1000 is needed.
To support scholarships for students earning a HIA BA/BS degree: $1200 is needed.
To support scholarships for students in master's degree programs $2500 is needed.
