Sean Carroll

Sean Carroll has served as CEO of Webmedx since July of 2004, prior to which he served as president of the medical transcription division for the company. Preceding Webmedx he served as vice president of sales, COO and ultimately CEO of Rodeer Systems, a leading firm in the medical transcription and emerging IT enabled services sector. Prior to Rodeer he was co-founder and CEO of TransQuick, Inc., the first national provider of Emergency Medicine transcription services. His experience in the medical transcription and clinical documentation marketplace has resulted in several industry acknowledgements for his companies including two national awards for industry employer of the year, a Smithsonian Computer World Award for technology innovation in healthcare for automated speech recognition applications and several successive years as the elected president of the medical transcription’s international trade association. Mr. Carroll is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
