Mona Calhoun, MS, RHIA

Mona Calhoun’s professional experience spans 25 years and includes managing HIM departments in various  healthcare settings, including acute care, rehabilitation and behavioral health.  She developed and serves as the Chairperson for the only accredited HIM baccalaureate program in the state of Maryland at Coppin State University in Baltimore.  Mona currently serves as the Chair for the Council for Excellence in Education.  She is very active with the Maryland CSA and has served on the board for over 15 years in the capacities of President, Delegate, Director, and Chairman of various committees.  She has presented at professional meetings on the local and national level.
