Mary Beth Haugen, MS, RHIA

Mary Beth Haugen, MS, RHIA, is currently the President of Haugen Consulting Group which specializes in workflow management, legal electronic health record, e-discovery, regulatory compliance, and project management.  This group has extensive experience in implementing numerous healthcare applications which has resulted in greater organizational performance. Haugen has over twenty-five years experience in health information management and was recently on the AHIMA Board of Directors.  Haugen has served in several capacities for Colorado HIMA.   Haugen is a nationally known speaker on topics such as the legal health record, integration of healthcare technology, e-discovery, managing electronic health records, managing IT projects and leadership.  She is the recipient of the 2009 Colorado HIMA Distinguished Member Award.  She is also adjunct faculty at the University of Cincinnati.
