Section 508 Compliance

In 2011, the AHIMA Foundation successfully completed Criterion 508 Solution's certification process for its website application, www.ahimafoundation.org. This certification signifies that the AHIMA Foundation's website adheres to the regulations governing Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, which requires that electronic and information technology be compatible with assistive technology for individuals with disabilities.

Learn more about Section 508

The AHIMA Foundation fully supports Section 508 and the efforts of the federal government in making technology accessible to people with disabilities, and is committed to assisting its government partners in complying with Section 508. If  you find any part of this website is not accessible for you, please contact us to have your issue resolved.
Today, the AHIMA Foundation strives to be the leading resource on managing health information for the healthcare industry and the public at large.
